A new version of the popular SkyRC D200neo charger that also offers the option to use the BumpGo system—an NFC sensor on the top of the charger allows you to write all the charging parameters for a given battery onto a BumpGo label, which you can then attach to your battery. Whenever you want to charge the battery afterward, simply hold the label on the battery up to the sensor on the charger; the charger will read the parameters. Use the button on the charger to select the channel to which the battery is connected—and then just start charging without any further setup. Easy!

The SKY RC D200neo+ 800W dual-channel charger was designed to provide everything needed to charge two batteries at high currents simultaneously “under one roof,” including a power supply, with simple operation and the ability to communicate with the SkyCharger app. The D200neo+ allows you to charge and discharge common battery types (NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-Fe, Li-HV, Pb); additionally, both channels are equipped with built-in six-channel balancers, which ensure very safe and convenient charging of lithium batteries. It can also operate in parallel charging mode, where both channels charge a single battery at a current of 20–35 A. When connected to an external BD350 discharger, it allows discharging at a current of up to 40 A at a maximum power of 350 W.

The intelligent software offers standard features and is designed for practical users who purchase the charger to charge batteries, while also allowing control and monitoring of the charging process on a PC or via the SkyCharger app on a smartphone using Bluetooth:

  • An NFC reader for BumpGo tags that allows you to instantly read the charging parameters stored on a BumpGo tag affixed to the battery and start charging with a single press of the programming wheel, without the need for any configuration
  • a program for new types of “high-voltage” LiHV lithium batteries with a charging cut-off voltage of up to 4.35 V
  • Setting the cut-off voltage for charging and discharging lithium batteries (allows for gentler charging, preferred by pilots, or, conversely, deeper discharging, favored by “car modelers”—max. 4.22 V for LiPo, 4.12 V for Li-ion, 3.67 V for LiFe, 4.37 V for LiHV with current firmware)
  • intelligent power distribution between both charging channels based on actual demand
  • programs for charging maintenance-free AGM lead-acid batteries and for charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures
  • Measurement of total voltage and individual cell voltages (for lithium batteries) even outside of charging/discharging
  • Measurement of internal resistance of the entire pack and individual cells (for lithium batteries)

Overview of basic functions and parameters

  • Lithium and Pb batteries are charged using the “constant current/constant voltage” method
  • Adjustable delta-peak detection sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries
  • Adjustable end-of-charge and end-of-discharge voltages for lithium and lead-acid batteries
  • Repeated charge/discharge or discharge/charge cycles for NiCd and NiMH batteries, up to 3 cycles
