RTR Crawler HOBBYTECH CRX18 - White

The CRX 18 is a 1/18th reproduction of the CRX: the emblematic model of our brand.

The mini is designed as a 1/10th scale: metal beam chassis, central gearbox (positioned slightly forward) with a motor in the low position and 2 bridges which are each connected to the chassis by 4 links.

The micro steering servo is a 3-wire model with a standard plug. To lower the center of gravity as much as possible, it is located on the foredeck (AMS assembly). The motorization is entrusted to a micro coal motor of 55T.

In terms of electronics, the CRX18 is equipped with an all-in module (receiver – ESC) which has 9 sockets to connect a complete ignition system with turn signals and brake lights. Originally, the CRX is equipped with 2 LED headlights that can be controlled via the radio control. Finally, the battery is a 2S of 600 mAh which allows you to drive for several hours.

Aesthetically, the CRX18 is a faithful reproduction of its big brother. The bridges have the same design as those fitted to the CRX2. The body has the same grille and the same accessories (jerrican, snorkel, wipers and mirrors). Finally, the tires are an exact reproduction of the Climber. Nice little detail: the running boards are equipped with a slot in which the lower bodywork is housed so as not to damage it on obstacles.

Many options will be available to improve the performance or the look of the CRX18: ball bearings, hydraulic shock absorbers…

The CRX18 allows you to ride indoors or outdoors. Both small and large spaces suit it perfectly. His crossing abilities are impressive. On the rocks: its lightness, its balance and the efficiency of its tires allow it to overcome incredible obstacles. The radio allows you to adjust the limit switches (gas and direction). The throttle setting allows you to refine your steering and adapt the speed of the CRX18 to the terrain and obstacles.
