8-channel computer pistol-grip RC set RadioLink using a FHSS 2.4GHz transmission system for model cars and boats. With the R8FG FHSS telemetry receiver included in the set, you have 8 PWM channels for conventional servos plus a built-in gyro. The RC8X transmitter can also work with the R6F and R6FG 6-channel receivers with built-in gyro, the R4FGM and R4F 4-channel receivers, or the R8EF and R8FM „flight“ receivers (designed primarily for the T8FB and T8S transmitters). The RC set's range is up to 600 m, so you don't have to worry about letting your boat into „bigger water“. With the R8FG receiver, it allows you to transmit telemetry and display the receiver's power supply voltage and signal strength received by the receiver directly on the transmitter's display. There is also a voice telemetry output.
The RC8X transmitter in a classic pistol-grip design with a comfortable handle is equipped with a steering wheel control, a throttle trigger, a rotary knob for the CH3, four digital trims around the steering wheel (with assignable function) and five push-button switches. A colour LCD touchscreen provides fast programming and easy navigation in the intuitive menu. The RC8X has memory for up to 200 models and a wide range of advanced program functions including four freely programmable mixes, so you can easily set up common and special car models (eg. steerable front and rear wheels for crawlers, tracked vehicles and tanks, twin-shaft boats etc.).
To start up the transmitter you will need 8 AAA alkaline or NiMH batteries placed in the battery compartment. Although for powering you can use 2–4S LiPo battery packs as well.
